Boise River water levels around Star Idaho

The high water level in the Boise River in and around the Star area presents a special opportunity to view areas that may be subject to flooding. The release rate is about 8000 cubic feet per second and low areas may show signs of water or flooding. Settler’s years ago would use the high water conditions to help them choose building sites. There are many homes and lots for sale in Star that you may be interested in knowing how higher water may affect them. The best time to buy a home in Star Idaho could be now. Interest rates are low and prices have not seen the increase in price like Boise homes. At our meeting this week (Silvercreek Realty Group) agents had buyers without homes to show. We have been seeing it move this was for some time now. We also had local industry leaders address the Shadow Inventory. Shadow inventory is the unconfirmed reports of large numbers of Bank Owned Homes ready to be dumped on the market. Many who said to be aware are now saying not only they don’t believe the inventory exists they are of the mind that the current demand for homes would consume the new inventory in a few months. If you are interested in selling a Star Home now would be a good time to get on the market because of the amount of buyers in the market and also the declining inventory.
